The impeller shaft is stainless steel, the wires are tinned marine grade, the housing is sealed and it’s easy to remove from the mounting base to clean and inspect. The outlet hose barb is 1 1/8” for use with a common 1 1/8” bilge hose and through-hull fitting. It can be wired to on/off switch. Or, you can use a 3-way switch and an automatic float switch for manual/off/auto modes.
