This Aussie is the perfect introduction into that Australian saddle world. From The Australian Stock Saddle Co, long time markers of Australian saddles. 14.5" as measured like an English saddle (standard Aussie measurement), 14" measured like a western saddle. Fits just a bit smaller than measurement with the nice deep seat and higher cantle. On a medium-narrow (semi-bars) tree that fits on the wide side of medium, measuring 4" with ample flare and an "A" Framed tree. 22" long, has some good weight to it. Stirrup leathers have good adjustment. This saddle is an older one and when the brand offered a bit nicer leather. This one has seen plenty of use but is proof that it was made to hold up to hard work! It has been in storage for some time, so the leather is a bit dry but a bit of oil has already done it wonders. Has some discoloration, scuffs, and scrapes but overall this saddle is sound. There's a bit of separation on the underside of the near fender, but does not impact use or safety. Comes with leathers, irons, and nylon girth. Plenty nice, nothing fancy, but a great way to get started with an Aussie saddle!
