It was used as a 4 poster bed valance!~ The front fabric is a reproduction of an 1830 English chintz. This textile dates from around the 1940-1950's ~ it's a very high quality textile. It has an interlining and it's backed in natural cotton. The front fabric is all hand stitched to the interlining!~ It's ideal too for repurposing into smaller sections for curtain lambrequins or pelmets ! MEASUREMENTS: this piece measures approximately 18 feet long by about 15 inches long at the deepest ~ CONDITION: This piece is in as found, not freshly laundered condition It's in fabulous condition, some light pale age marks here and there, but generally it's in stunning condition!~ Inventory : G1248
