Description: Sometimes prices go down, but never until we have a fair amount of watchers, so please watch if interested but not ready to buy. ___________________________________________________ ITEM- 1880-1900 European Dollhouse Miniature Painting Lady in Coin Silver Frame DESCRIPTION- Hand painted profile of a young lady with ribbon in her hair, in the most fabulous frame made of international coin silver (800- some call Dutch silver). This frame is perfect for a small painting in 1:12 scale or a large painting in 1:24th scale (see last photo). No visible signature on the painting, frame has 800 mark in the center of the back. The back still has the original frame's silver hanging loop on the back, but that can be removed (I can do it if you ask) & then it can be hung with sticky tack instead if you don't want the loop. Frame measures 1 & 3/4" tall X 1 & 5/16" wide. CONDITION- Excellent condition, no issues to painting or frame, but has tarnish on frame I haven't tried to clean. SHIPPING/INSURANCE- Free shipping is by USPS ground with us paying for full insurance, but if you want it perhaps a few days faster upgrade to Priority fully insured for just $5 more. However, one buyer neglected to note the size, thought they were buying a full size cupboard despite the DH category, description with size, & pictures with a dime beside them & one of my hand holding it, so just know what you're buying & know there will be no returns for not looking at pictures & reading the description. And if there is anything you're not sure about, write to ask BEFORE buying & we will send any additional pics or photos or measurements you need so there is no confusion. After you buy without writing, that is on you. We want to make every reasonable buyer happy so they come back again! Thanks for looking. ADDENDUM- The current wording of this listing has been in flux recently, being changed over & over because this is a test to try to comply with a rogue eBay AI that can't read/interpret properly. eBay has said that my description broke their policies in this & two others & I've revised them over 8 times trying to fix it, even using the same wording from the other listings but it wouldn't approve them no matter what. NEWS FLASH- When I made only this paragraph the description & left it, wallah, I got an email saying my revisions had been approved BUT THEN I put THE SAME description back here again & it has no complaints now. Over 8 hours trying to fix this issue to find that out. What a trash system! A great company ruins itself when it let's AI run things without any checks & balances. Real-life employees didn't even know why my listing was flagged & couldn't even see the reason themselves, which I found out wasting 2 calls to eBay & over 8 hours playing. Sad really, after our 26 years with them.
