Description: Here's a nice, patriotic fabric ribbon, 6.75" x 2 3/8" from the 1896 presidential campaign. It shows the victorious republican ticket of William McKinley and Garret Hobart. There's a matching ribbon for their democrat opponents, William J. Bryan and Arthur Sewall, which we are also listing. As a historical curiosity, this ribbon has two men who died in office. Hobart died in November 1899 because he had a bad heart, which is why McKinley ran with Theodore Roosevelt in 1900. And then McKinley in September 1901 from his wounds after being shot at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, New York. It is in nice condition but please look at our images to judge this for yourself so you can be happy with your purchase. We are members of APIC and sell only authentic presidential (and other collectible) material so buy with confidence. We'll be happy to combine S & H costs on multiple purchases which we do by issuing a refund for any overpayment. Shipping on this will be $5.50, carefully packed with tracking. 8929
