Description: Unusual Toothpick Salt / Match Safe featured in Heacock 5000 Salts Book as # 3730 Toothpick Salt or Match Safe. Made by the US Glass Co. as EAPG State Pattern Massachusetts 1898 - 1910.. One side has scalloped edge and the other side is flat. It is in fantastic condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Probably used as a give away for advertising purposes. This one is imprinted, “Chicago MDSE.CO Phila PA” It is 3 1/4 inches tall by about 2 1/2 wide. It is an elegant piece intend for holding toothpicks or matches. It also makes a great tea light holder.
