Description: Here for sale is a wonderful 18th to early 19th century pastry mold. Often referred to as a Springerle Board, it is made from one block of walnut wood, and it has some good weight to it. It is carved on the front side with an intricate carving of a woman with a well detailed outfit. I would believe this to be PA Dutch. It measures 12 1/8 inches tall by 3 5/8 inches across. It is in great condition with an honest patina. Used to mold pastry dough into large cookies. Very well carved with excellent detail. Buyer pays shipping.
