Description: Mailed July 1, 1919 from Oakland to Petaluma CA from brother to brother, identified both in his newspaper ad pinned to the letter and in hand, Herman Meyling. Also references the Irving administration (Samuel Irving) leaving office w/ a more sympathetic to the cause mayor coming into Berkeley & says that the Berkeley police no longer give him trouble. Two full pages of correspondence + a full page “meditation” that sounds like a salesman getting up his confidence at the start of the day. 8 x 10” w/ original folds & envelope.
