Description: This 1936 SINGER Sewing Machine Portable Model 15-91, serial #AE329029 is a vintage original that works really nice. It comes with a case and a few accessories and is a great addition to any collection. The machine is black in color and was manufactured in the United States. Upon plugging it in and depressing the pedal, it quickly began to operate at a good speed. It was not tested for sewing capabilities. This was purchased new and remained in the family ever since. I'm told that this was well maintained and carefully used by a friend's grandmother for most of her adult life and was one of her prized possessions. It was handed down to her daughter with strict instructions about usage and upkeep. My friends mother is now 81 and hasn't used it in a couple of years, and her daughters have no interest in sewing.
