Postmarked June 23, 1944. Priced to sell. Sender is EM Welch Ilag VII held civilian prisoners who were not military combatants. Schein was most likely one of the Channel Islands Jews who did not wind up in a concentration camp, that he is writing to Palestine most likely confirms he is Jewish.
