I did NOT know this, because when I researched the few like this that I could find, THEY were all missing the piece, also. I have now found one that has the original piece on it. SO you are buying this elephant with his trunk tip missing.PLEASE BE AWARE. Approx. 5.5" x 4". Papier-Mache (Paper-Mache) handpainted,with the cutest Eyelashes.Has some Spotting and age soiling, but the head is sturdy and no chips seen. The Gold base has some scraping along the edge that has a teeny amount of paint scraped in a few areas. Very minimal. The face has some teeny specks that look like Gray Freckles. Unknown cause, but not a visual defect. Bobbles well!! Not marked. Other than the trunk piece, no other damage found.
