Description: Up for auction is a vintage Piper Cub bear logo pilot wing or pin. The two-piece construction gold colored wing measures 2 7/8 inches long and 1 inch tall. The wing is clutch back and comes with clutches. The front of the wing features a bear cub made of brown enamel holding a red enamel sign that reads, "PIPER/CUB/PIPER AIRCRAFT CORP/LOCKHAVEN PA USA" on four lines. The wing is not hallmarked. I'm guessing the wing dates from the 1960's. The wing is in excellent condition showing only light age. Please be sure to view the large photos and judge condition for yourself.
