Description: Wow! This vintage Sportailor brand shirt is both stylish and very well-made! Not to mention, it appears to have been worn very little as it is in fabulous condition! Based on the style and the graphics on the tag, I believe it is from the 1960s; this was confirmed to me by a spokesperson at the company who indicated "I would say early 1960’s. These were made for stores in Puerto Rico at the time." I'm not sure what the material is, but it is somewhat heavy. The two panels on the front are a lighter weight and more open weave. Details worth mentioning are: the cut at the bottom front panels, which is at a diagonal; the two front waist pockets, which have decorative flaps (not actual); the diagonal cut and button placement on the cuff of the sleeve; the double pleats on the sleeve near the cuff; the side buttons (2 buttons per side); and the buttons themselves, which have a "cutout" through the center line. The shirt has a tag reading Sportailor Florida with a simple triangular geometric design. There is also a small tag sewn into the collar with the letter "M" for medium. According to someone from the company these were made in the 1960s for stores in Puerto Rico.
