Description: This 1970 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Sax is a professional-quality instrument with superior sound and performance. Handmade in France, this has been my personal instrument since it was purchased NEW in 1970. The lacquer has NEVER been redone. This Mark VI includes a mouthpiece (Vandoren Java Jumbo), strap, and case. It was completely overhauled recently (new pads, springs, tone hold polishing, everything)! The detailed receipt for everything done during this overhaul is in the photos. The case shows the wear and tear of a 54 year-old instrument, although it was often carried in a gig bag. The case is what they called the tray-pack, meaning that it was designed to carry a flute (in its case) and a clarinet (built into the lower right portion of the case). Neither the flute nor the clarinet are included.
