Description: This is a beautiful example of Gibson’s very early run of 1972-4 Les Paul Deluxe's w/a set of what appears to be factory full size c.1972 Pat. # stickered Humbucking pickups perhaps installed by Gibson in 1974 ! Its faded Cherry’burst finish is quite lovely almost an ice tea color over an extremely good looking slightly figured Maple top. Its matching 'bursted sandwiched mahogany body & its early 3 piece mahogany neck are stunning. She has a 6-digit stamped # w/a small 1972 type volute. Again she's loaded w/a set of Humbuckers sporting the 1972 Gibson logo w/original solder joints on a set of pots dated to the 21st week of 1974. It's got a set of Kluson Double Line Double Ring Deluxe tuners w/a chrome tun-a-matic bridge & stop tailpiece. She's also fairly lightweight at 9 3/4 lbs. It is truly excellent overall, sounds insane & comes in its original black tolex/purple lined hard case.
