It features artwork by the legendary GGA artist, a true legend, who was one of the greatest overall comic artists, and one of the most distinctive artists in comics. It shows a classic pin-up image from the cover of the large size graphic novel-type book collecting all 5 action chapters of Stevens' fantastic story that was later made into a Disney live-action movie in 1991. I believe the book included the original stories from Starslayer #2 and #3, as well as Pacific Presents #1 and #2. The poster is in very good undisplayed condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, and measures approximately 11" by 17" when unfolded and is blank on the reverse side. It has some minor general handling wear, with a pinch indentation mark near the top middle edge. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible, as they were for promotional use and were not made for resale. Promotional posters like this one were not mass-produced or available to the general public, and were often thrown away, so to find a classic one like this that is more than 30 years old and has not been pinned with tacks or taped is rare indeed. This is an outstanding piece that would look fantastic framed, and would be a great addition to the collection of any Rocketeer fan. Payment to be made within 7 days of auction close.
