The binding is square and tight and immaculate throughout. The front illustrated endpapers has a small previous book seller’s label and price stamped to it as shown. The tan boards are spotless and the red cloth spine and gold gilt lettering is bright and beautiful also as shown in the photos provided. There is one small section of black and white photographs. The dust jacket is complete and has the original price present on the front flap. There is also a yellow price sticker affixed to the jacket spine as the images show. There is light soiling to the rear panel but nothing overwhelming. The jacket comes in a Mylar protector which can be easily removed should you wish to. This copy will make a wonderful addition to any Hillerman collection and a fantastic reference book while reading his titles.
