Description: Vintage late 1800s early 1900s Sun Colored Amethyst (SCA) Early American pressed glass oil/ kerosene lamps with damage, the pair have a 6 paneled base that measures approx 6"diameter and are 12 ' tall with burner, has a smooth plain SCA glass font. about a medium in SCA coloring not light. just doesn't show well on photos. Both have working burners and wicks 1 burner has Eagle P & M Co Waterbury burner the second one has only patent date Jan 16 83 and patent date Feb 11 73 No other markings found on lamps some bubbles in glass, the font is smoot glass no decorative pattern the pedestal and base has 6 panels These are thick heavy lamps and will not tip easily The Base on 1 has a large chip on underneath not seen standing the second lamp has has a large crack that travels though 3 panels on the lower third of lamp and both have small fleabites on a couple of sharp edges where panels meet Large crack is not noticeable if positioned right NO chimneys Photos 13 & 14 show crack that is in one lamp only.
