Description: Hand Forged Brass Open Chestnut Roaster Cream Sieve 20” Long. Measures 20” long and 8” across spoon. I know for fact it’s at least 52 years old. In 1970 it was hanging in my Grandmother kitchen. We believe it is 10-20 yrs older than that. We were told it was a chestnut roaster but I see where others on here believe it was used to strain the top of cream. To that I cannot speak.
