2007-2008 Fender Japan 1957 Style Stratocaster All Original Electric Guitar

Description: Fender Japan1957 Style Strat 2 Tone Sunburst Electric Guitar Made in Japan Includes: Guitar only & Tremolo Bar I purchased this all original 2007-2008 used guitar online from Japan in 2016. I am the second owner of this lovely 2 tone sunburst Stratocaster, possibly finished over an ash body; there is very attractive grain on this 2 piece body. A ’57 style neck usually has more of a pronounced V- shape, whereas this neck is more of a C-shape. This guitar has very low action with slight fret wear. There is no grooves in the frets that I can see. The bridge saddles show a bit of rust and tarnishing. There are signs of rust or corrosion on the pick guard and backplate screws. There are some small nicks throughout with one larger dent by the middle tone control. (pictured) This guitar has been used but not abused and could use new strings. As you can see we opened under the pickguard and everything is original. Electronics all check out with no noise that I can hear. The tremolo bar is the only thing not original.
