Description: This is a single Coconut Lounge Chair, designed by George Nelson. This handsome lounge chair is composed of a molded reinforced plastic shell, with an upholstered black leather seat on a triangular chromed-steel frame. Condition overall is very good to excellent with some wear from use. Each chair is dated 2007. See photos. This chair was designed by Nelson in 1955, born of the Herman Miller design studio while he was the resident director of design. This particular chair was produced by Vitra. Vitra is the sole authorized manufacturer of Nelson products for markets in Europe and the Middle East.
