Description: Curry played collegiately at Davidson from 2006 to 2009. He would help the Wildcats to the regional final in the 2007-08 NCAA Men’s tournament, where they would lose to the Kansas Jayhawks. Curry would win the Midwest region’s Most Outstanding Player for the tournament. He would return for his junior year. He would be selected 7th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. He would finish second in Rookie of the Year voting to Tyreke Evans. He would be a unanimous pick for the All-NBA Rookie First Team. He would post decent stats for his sophomore season and would undergo surgery at the end of the season on his right ankle. He would miss most of the 2011-12 season due to injuries. He would comeback in 2012-13 to break Ray Allen’s season three-pointer record of 269 by hitting 272. In 2013-14, he would garner his first NBA All-Star selection and first NBA Playoff appearance. He would help lead the Warriors to the NBA Championship in 40 years and his first NBA MVP award in 2014-15. He would win his second NBA MVP award in 2015-16 by unanimous decision while putting up historic numbers. He would help lead the Warriors to back-to-back championships from 2016 to 2018. Bringing his total to 3 titles in 4 years. He would stretch the finals appearances to five straight in the 2018-19 season losing to the Raptors. He would suffer a hand injury in 2019-20 that would require surgery. He would make a comeback later in the season and would go on to win his second NBA scoring title. In 2021-22, he would lead the Warriors to their fourth title and win his first NBA Finals MVP award. To date Curry has 2 NBA MVP awards, 4 NBA Titles, 1 NBA Finals MVP award, 8 NBA All-Star Selections, 2 NBA Scoring Titles and many other awards and accolades. He finished his college degree in 2022.
