We continue north of L.A. up the old Southern Pacific Line and up the coast to Santa Barbara, stopping at towns like Glendale, Camarillo, Ventura, Dulah, and Seacliff, watching trains round the bays at the foot of coastal mountains with plenty of great surf shots along the way. We stop at Carpinteria California, we take a good look at Santa Barbara, the depot, and its many trains, and we take a tour of town. You will see plenty of passenger trains and take a ride up the coast on Amtrak's Surf Liner.
