Description: These six beautiful salad plates were made by Theodore Haviland in Limoges, France, ca. 1903 - 1919. The plates feature a delicate scroll design with gold daubs around the edges. Garlands of pink flowers, morning glories, with gray and green foliage, circle the dishes and a bouquet of the flowers adorn the centers. As you would expect with china this old, there are some tiny 'pops' that happened when the porcelain was fired (see photos 7 & 8). Also, one plate has a small chip on the back that is not visible on the front of the plate (see photos 9 & 10). One plate has a small scratch (see photo 11). A lovely addition to a holiday dinner or another festive occasion. Plate diameter: 8" I pack with plenty of bubble wrap to ensure that your purchase is protected during shipping.
