Description: From the best I could figure out searching on Google this is a Ushabti / Shabti Statue replica standing 7 1/2 inches tall, and marked on the bottom portion on the reverse side with BMPL. The piece is Blue/Turquoise in color with a Black Base. The felt on the bottom of the piece does show some marks from the clay like shelf adhesive stuff that was used to secure it in place on the shelf. This has been on display in an enclosed curio cabinet, in a local estate, that is my reasoning for listing it as used. It feels like it has been cast out of a light weight stone, maybe some sort of clay? but keep in mind that is just a guess, I don’t actually know what it is crafted out of, nor do I know it’s country of origin.
