This is an insert GM placed right on the bezel. Different Models/Trim Options used different style inserts i.e. 'Regal' We have sold new overlays, lenses, speedometers, boost tach calibrations, etc and this part has been needed for a while now. With our cars 30+ years old now this is an item that can show the true age and mileage. The chrome starts to put and the black paint starts to fade. This is a way to bring the Bezel that is right in front of you to look brand new again. This reproduction is dead on from the front to the back. Like all of our reproductions we made is a little crisper and cleaner then the OEM units. The back you can actually see the letters clear. Not that you will see once installed but if this much effort goes into the back the front is going to be dead on. The other use comes in when you have found a N/A mint Regal Speedometer Bezel. This is an easy way to convert the NA unit to turbo. So many people want to modify but do not want to destroy the original. This is a perfect priced option. Keep the OEM and use another to cut up. Then place the emblem for the factory look. After many years of sun exposure, moisture or dash cleaning products the chrome finish and black on this emblem faded away or worse case fell of the dash plate and was lost.
