Our epoxy resin looks really great on wood bar tops and tables. Our 300/21 Clear epoxy is non-blushing. Blush, or "amine blush" as it is called, is a greasy film that rises to the surface of many epoxies except for the cycloaliphatic systems. AeroMarine Products' epoxy is ideal for use in composite construction with fiberglass, kevlar, or carbon fiber cloth. This is a thin, low viscosity resin that really wets fiberglass cloth out well. You can also mix it with small pebbles to get that "pebble paving" that you see on resort pool decks and pathways. *Epoxy resin is NOT UV resistant. It will turn yellow when exposed to sunlight. Use a UV resistant varnish or UV resistant clear coat on top of the fully cured epoxy for UV protection.* The mix ratio is 2:1 by volume. AeroMarine Products epoxy's work life is about 30 minutes at 70F. It is dry to the touch in 12 to 16 hours and cures in about 24 hours. Full cure in 72 hours at 70F. Laminates made with this system are extremely strong and coatings have a high gloss.*A special note to those using this epoxy for pouring countertops: If you don't have any experience doing this sort of project, please practice on a scrap of wood before pouring it over something valuable.
