This is the two volume, University of California Press edition of Moser's original Pennyroyal Press edition, reproducing all the woodcuts. Second matching red cloth chemise houses a drawing of The Mad Hatter signed at the bottom in pencil by Moser. The folio sized book and folder are housed in a beautiful red buckram slipcase. There is a Forward by Professor James R. Kincaid, recently retired from USC, as well as marginal notes by Kincaid. Book and folder are in excellent condition with the exception of slight fading at the spines. The slipcase is very nice with a couple small smudge and one small spot on the top edge as seen in the last photos above.
