Made by the New York firm of Charters, Cann and Dunn using various techniques of repoussé, chasing and casting, wonderfully highly decorated with naturalistic motifs. Large repoussé grape clusters and leaves chased for detail emerge from a chased grapevine encircling the oversized midsection, pedestal base and neck. Cast and applied interwoven vines encircle the rim of the foot. This impressive coin silver pitcher is marked underneath CC&D.
