Description: I found this old sewing machine at the thrift store. I know nothing about sewing machines, but this piece had been there for over a month and was due for an uncertain fate, so I rescued it with the hopes of rehoming it to someone who will appreciate it as the piece of history that it is. Here's what I have been able to find out after examining it carefully and doing some research: According to needlebar.org, this machine has been "badged" for Dallier, and Dallier-badged machines were manufactured by White Sewing Machine Company in Ohio. It bears the patent date of August 10, 1920. Motor number is 1151. There is also a small metal plate with the number 200758. That's the sum total of information about this machine I have been able to find. Because I don't know anything about sewing machines, I can't say whether this is operational, whether all the parts are there, etc. I just don't know. I am pricing it accordingly because it may need some restoration work. The only thing I know for sure needs to be adjusted is the latch on the cover that holds the cover onto the base. It doesn't catch well enough into the recess on the base to actually lift this machine up by using the cover's handle. Beautiful art deco gold colored geometric and floral design all over this machine! This machine is VERY LARGE AND HEAVY! It weighs nearly 35 pounds before adding the shipping box and packing material! Therefore I have given you two different shipping options, so you can pick the one that is most economical for you. I will also allow local pick up. I am listing many other items on eBay. So, please check my other listings, as I am happy to combine shipping. I do not accept returns. So please review the listing carefully and ask questions if you have any before purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES!
