Description: Antique 1920s Dress Black Ivory Gingham Check Size L/XL Vintage Day House Chore. Lovely antique 1920s black and ivory check cotton or possibly very fine wool day dress. This amazing vintage dress features ivory piping throughout accenting the front pockets, belt and neckline with double piping on the short sleeves. It has the iconic 20s silhouette with a dropped waist and loose straight line. The neckline is detailed with snap closures and 3 tiny center front MOP buttons. The bodice, waist and pockets have decorative topstitching. The attached belt can be adjusted to fit. SIZE: Large/X Large Measurements of dress taken when laying flat are- Pit to pit 64cm / 25” Waist 64cm / 25” (can be cinched in a needed with the tie) Hips 74cm / 29” Length 122cm / 48” CONDITION: Very good vintage condition (excellent considering its age and the fact it would have been worn as an everyday house dress for housework and chores). Upon close inspection there is a tiny faint rust stain on the lap area. Not noticeable unless you look closely, it is hidden in the check pattern. There is a tiny hole that I found upon close scrutiny. Please see last few photos of close ups of any other marks or flaws I can find, and please zoom in on photos to look at condition). Overall, it’s in exceptional rare condition considering its age, and presents beautifully. Sold as is. Please feel free to ask any questions.
