Organized in 1880 as Pairpoint MFG Co with Edward Mandel as president and Thomas Pairpoint as chief designer The design of this Remarkable piece is an outstanding work of art with fluid forms hand painted small forget me not flowers and the adorable silver-plated cherub base. Measures: bowl 10.5” diameter and stands 9.25” tall. This piece is heavy and hallmarked PAIRPOINT and P inside diamond 4970 This piece is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs of any kind, no damage to the bowl, with no plate loss and very minimal wear. Bowl has some production flaws as most hand blown glass, please check many pictures I made for descriptive accuracy. This hard to find American classic would make a luxurious addition to any elegant collection.
