Description: Presenting a stunning Limoges strawberry serving bowl, manufactured by Coiffe et Cie and imported by New York-based distributor Leon D. Bloch & Co. The center of the bowl features a delicate strawberries and flower spray, along with the painter's signature. The wall and handles are adorned with an interconnected vein of strawberries and leaves, all set off by a wide band of gold trim. This lovely piece carries the Coiffe et Cie Limoges mark, used between 1891 and 1914, as well as the importer's L.D.B. & Co and "Flambeau" torch mark. Despite its age, the bowl remains in very nice condition with minor utensil marks to the interior and slight gold loss along the edge. This old-time charm would be an eye-catching piece, whether displayed in a cabinet or used for serving fruits, and of course, berries.Measurements10.5" x 10" x 2.5" TallNet weight 1 lb 5.95 oz
