Description: A beautiful pair of portrait miniatures from the early 1800's is offered for your consideration. The handsome couple are hand painted onto ovals, which I believe are ivory. The artist was skilled and the portraits show fine details. I don't know if they are English or American. The ovals are on a material that appears like silk and are framed in wood frames- probably walnut and bear the Beard Art Gallery labels from Minneapolis. 5 1/4" tall, 4 3/4" wide.
