Description: Antique Larkin Round Paw or Claw Foot Quarter-sawn White Oak Wood Pedestal Table with four leaves. Expands to oval shape. It expands to 96" to fit a large gathering. Table diameter is 48" with no leaves; leaves are 12" wide and 48" long; length with 4 leaves added is 96". Table height from floor is 29.25". This table has not been restored but is in great condition considering it is most likely over 100 years old. This antique Larkin pedestal table is similar to one in the Larkin Company catalog dated 1914. The Larkin Soap Company was established around 1875 in Buffalo NY. As it grew it continued to expand into household goods and furniture including Hoosier-type kitchen cabinets, wooden ice boxes, desks, chairs, tables and other pieces for every room in the house.
