Description: WHAT YOU ARE BUYINGAntique Oak Display China Cabinet Display Hutch with Claw Feet & Ornate CarvingDESCRIPTIONBeautiful quarter sawn oak (1/4 or tiger oak) china cabinet / hutch / bookcase. Superior quality and workmanship.Outstanding 3 dimensional carved decorations of claw feet, shell designs, fruit flourishes, and ornate curli-cues. Probably meant as an ornate Chippendale style but has a touch of Renaissance revival or Spanish revival design elements. It has angled corners, glass sides to allow more light naturally inside, and an extra light was later added. The top simply sits on the base and makes transportation in 2 parts easier.It is an original antique piece that has been restored and not a later reproduction. Made probably in the 1930s.Height is about 68 1/2 inch. Depth is about 18 1/8 inches. Width is about 57 1/8 inches.It is an extremely versatile piece of furniture. Last 2 photos include the table and chair set that were original with the china cabinet but are being sold separately.Check out our other items!CONDITION Very good condition. Professionally refinished several years ago. The wear is normal and appropriate to an item of this age. With restoration there is always a question of how far to take the work. We believe in making the item beautiful and usable while not hiding all the well earned wear.
