Description: RARE!!! Original antique copper panned balance (tea?) scale in original wooden box. One of the cords holding the copper oblong pour pan is broken. The round copper side has what I would call a penny weight attached. Have not cleaned or done anything to the box or the scale. Selling in as is condition. An old and still beautiful piece in its simplicity and would make a great display piece hanging over the original box. Inside box is the name Vandome, Titfords' & Pawson.... interestingly, the s' & Pawson is crossed out with red bars and above it is now printed & Co. Ltd. Obviously they changed the name of the company and simply printed over the label rather than printing new labels. Please see all pictures and look carefully before purchasing.
