Description: Welcome to your brand new Macintosh SE! It's 1998, you're ready to get started, but.. where to begin? Fortunately, Apple has your back, with this set of documentation and software. Included here, just as it was originally:The Macintosh SW User's Guide: Surprisingly gory details about the computer, including such things as a discussion of SCSI interfaces and an exploded-view graphic of a disk drive. The Macintosh Quick Reference Card, including a long list of what all those Command+something keystrokes do, and a big "What should I do first?" posterAll sorts of warranty cards, license agreements, and the like. The original "Your Apple Tour of the Macintosh SW" floppy diskIt's all there, and all in very good shape, There's a little bit of bendy stuff on the user's guide and reference card (see photos), but it's barely noticeable. There's one notation in pen in the user's guide; it's pretty cryptic, and I wish I could remember what it means. Everything else is clean. The Quick Reference Card looks a little off-white to me, compared to the users guide, but I think this is just a difference in card stock rather than any serious sun-based yellowing (since it's been in a sun-shielded box for all these years. I've tested the Tour floppy disk on an old PowerBook, and it mounted and loaded fine. This package is a nice reminder of how the computing world started its move away from black screens and C: prompts to where we are now. It could be yours! Click away!
