The same lake made famous by Shelby Stanga of the History Channels Axe Men, first discovered in 1699 by Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville. The piece has lots figure. This rare unique wood has tight grain and warm rich color. You wont find another like it. Sinker cypress is by far MUCH harder to recover than anything on land. You can't pull up a truck or forklift and start loading it up. Our winch boat is the biggest around - specially designed for the big ones! It also helps us get the old ones too that are buried deep in the sediments...like digging back in time. Our logs grew from an ancient time when forests were THICK and trees grew close together.
