And in my mind ESPECIALLY the gritty Tom Glavine. I always said, as good as that staff was, in a one game means everything situation, I'd rather have Glavine on the mound than ANYONE. He would just bear down and deny you a run. That could be said of Maddux, Smoltz, and Avery or Neagle as well. But if the money were on the line . . . and it was in game six of the 1995 WORLD SERIES, my money is on Thomas Glavine. He proved me right too. Cleveland had a super offensive team. They got zip! Nothing. A goose egg. And Atlanta got it's only professional Championship still to date. Thanks and way to go Tom. No brainer Hall Of Fame stuff!
