BATMAN, LOT OF 10 NM ORIGINAL REGULAR ROLLED ONE SHEETS / MOVIE POSTERS

Description: When I began my business in the 1970's, I chose to obtain movie posters by either buying into licensed print runs or by getting material from studio field offices. In this manner, I deliberately avoided acquiring bootlegs or reproductions. FYI, most one sheets made prior to 1990 are 27x41; most after this date are 27x40. In 1989, several movie poster distributors were contacted by Warner Brothers and DC Comics. We were asked, if by paying royalties, would we distribute original rolled one sheets from BATMAN. Three of us accepted and I was one of them. By paying royalties, we bought into the print run. The posters, printed by The Great Southern Company, were sent to us in boxes which contain 100 posters. For this title, an advance style and a regular style are printed and most of the posters have a flat surface. Both styles also have a limited quantity of posters with a glossy surface. These posters are UV coated and have a distinct smell. Only the advance glossy style is in my eBay store. Offered are ten original one sheets (27x40) from BATMAN starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. Each rolled single sided poster has minimal wear. Images are attached.
