This thing is a little beast! A growly monster that can also get dirty and greasy as you would expect from a tweed tube amplifier! Turn up the master volume to get the tubes to start cooking, and single coils (like our brand new IYV Telecaster also for sale in our ebay store) stay fairly clean. Give the Delta King a little more help with a humbucker equipped guitar and you can start getting into gritty, edge of break up territory. With the flick of a switch, the very helpful boost function on the amp can push you over some more with either a bump in volume and/or gain ! Or just start turning up the (channel) volume knob and the Supro starts getting into that beautiful but simultaneously filthy tweed overdrive bark that we all love ! Super good for just a 1 watt tube amp. In my opinion, it doesn't really start to slightly deteriorate in sound until the volume control is fully dimed. This small sucker also takes pedals very well !
