Description: Breyer Horse Model - Comanche Pony (San Domingo mold)This auction is for the Comanche Pony, a dark palomino with white mane/tail and grey shaded muzzle, done on the San Domingo mold. I do not see any flaws on this model; however, I may miss something so please ask if you have any questions or would like additional photos of any particular area. Breyer mold #67, model #829, and produced in 1988 - 1989.I met Kathleen Maestas in 2003, and she has shared a lot of the model horse hobby history with me over the subsequent years. Many long-time collectors know Kathleen, as she was one of the premier artists customizing Breyer model horses in the late 1970s through the mid-1980s, selling her customized models under the Double Diamond Ranch name. I am honored that she has asked me to assist her in liquidating a few models from her vast collection. All proceeds go to support her non-profit animal rescue, El Dorado Animal Sanctuary.Comes from non-smoking home. Please check out the photos closely for overall condition.
