Fowler, a Revolutionary War soldier, was born in 1756 in Chesterfield County, Virginia, the son of John Fowler, Sr. and Judith Hobson Fowler. He married Millicent Wills in Richmond, before 1779; removed to Kentucky in 1783 and died there at Lexington, 1840. The book includes much on the Fowler genealogy. See Coleman.
