Description: This waxed Carhartt vest is in good condition overall. Missing the logo patch on the front and the care tag has been removed. The front of the zipper has scratch marks on it as if someone attempted to remove the lettering. Otherwise, very clean throughout. I decided this vest would be a good candidate to try a waxed exterior on (the vest had some decent wear and the wax might soak in easier) I applied 2 layers of fabric wax using 2 types of wax (Otter Wax, Greenland Wax) I melted them into the fabric using a heat gun. Accidentally melted the nylon liner in the top center below the tags a little bit (see photos) but it didn't melt through thankfully. It ended up giving the vest a nice burnished bronze look with a slight patina finish. You could always add more wax if you want a super thick coat. Please examine photos carefully for condition and measurements before purchasing.Mahalo~
