Description: Offered is a Carl Yastrzemski Boston Red Sox Game Used Bat from the 1973-75 seasons. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Yastrzemski facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 33.4oz. Model number "W215" has been factory stamped in the knob which has been colored over (completely) in black. Strong use is evident throughout with scattered ball and contact marks and some rack streaks. A light coat of pine tar remains on the handle. Grain swelling, due to repeated contact and perhaps some level of improper storage, is visible on the hitting surface and it appears that some of this (and what are likely some other splits along the grain) have been secured/glued in place.
