This measures about 10.5" tall by about 17"5/8 long on a horizontal, this measures a little under 1" thick, but this varies with the carvings, all measurements are approximate, this is approximately 2LB5OZ before packaging and boxing, please see measuring tape photos for measurements and all photos for condition. This is a hand carved piece featuring birds on a beach or water's edge with grasses and shells. This has the wood anomalies and natural carve marks from the maker, this is not smooth and machined. There is a sharp leaf edge at the top but carving around the edge (please see close up photo of this area). This has varied heights from the carvings and the edges are not perfectly squared. This is a light wood that has been stained for the coloration, keeping a light quality to the work. A very beautiful piece, ready for a new home.
