The rim also features an embossed scrollwork design in ivory. The center of the plates is yellow, each featuring a different fruit - pear, apple, and orange. Unfortunately, I broke the plates with the grapes. These are still beautiful dishes and I really like them. I hope you do too.This item has no cracks, crazing, utensil marks or repairs although there is a very small rough spot the size of a pin head on the pear plate. It is a manufacturer's imperfection.
