Description: Civil War Era Tin Gun Powder Bottle Flask with cap for Muskets, Rifles and Pistols. Construction entirely of all soldered tin, including the soldered tin top. It has a Diamond shape embossed on the front and back panels, and a double collar inside the spout. The Diamond shape likely indicates that the contents were once Curtis & Harvey Diamond Grain Powder, London England. The can measures approximately 5 1/4" tall to top of cap, 3" wide and 1 1/4" thick. Flask is in very good condition.
