Coca-Cola Soda Fountain Glasses with Handles CLEAR Glass LIBBEY Vintage Lot of 2

For your consideration is this lot of (2) two VINTAGE late 1970’s contour-shaped LIBBEY Coca-Cola soda fountain style handled heavy CLEAR glasses. This set of soda fountain glasses were passed on from my mother-in-law’s estate and were used by my wife and her siblings back in the day. I believe the set dates to the mid 1970’s since the embossed “LIBBEY” hallmark seen on the bottom of each glass is a simple “cursive” style letter “L” without the circle. Refer to description photos #15 and #16 for more details about what I have described. Note; earlier Libbey “L” hallmarks were embossed within a circle or a ring. Either way, this set of glasses is well over 50 years old and are authentic vintage soda fountain glasses. Each soda fountain glass is made out of thick heavy clear glass and weighs approximately 1.0 pound, 6.0 ounces each with a combined total weight of approximately 2.0 pounds, 12.0 ounces by themselves. Each glass has an integral 3.0” glass handle and overall measurements of approximately 6.25” tall, 3-6/16” in diameter at the top and 2-10/16” diameter at the bottom. Refer to description photos #17, #18, #19, #20 and #21 to confirm the weight and size dimensions and for more details about what I have described. Each glass is deeply embossed with the iconic script “Coca-Cola” brand name on both the front and back sides of the glass as clearly depicted in the description photos. Refer to description photos #10, #11 and #12 for close-up photos of what I described. The sides of the beautifully contoured shaped glasses feature a warm sculptured vertical rib design that looks exquisite and instantly identifies the glasses as being associated with the Coca-Cola brand name. Overall, the set of soda fountain glasses remain damage free and in very good condition for being over a half-century old. The clear glass is damage free and neither glass has any chips, cracks and/or repairs. As is consistent with the age of the glasses, each has a few scattered light surface scratches and blemishes from normal use and being handled throughout the decades; but none of which are anything you wouldn’t expect to see or find on genuine vintage glasses like this.
